FAQs

  • Heat film generates heat through an electric current that runs through carbon fiber, which is extremely energy efficient. The far-infrared rays then distribute heat evenly throughout the space. This system also provides healthier indoor air quality by not circulating dust, bacteria, and mold that may be in mechanical ducts.

  • Heat is controlled with a smart thermostat that creates variety control of each space. Multiple thermostats for each room can perform individually and uniformly.

  • Dry install is a method of construction installation that does not use wet mortar or concrete. This ensures timely installation and keeps your home free from the toxicity of concrete.

  • Radiant heating systems provide direct heat to your home’s floor. This method distributes heat up and outward, similarly to the sun but from your home’s flooring more efficiently and evenly than traditional copper wire based radiant/floor heating systems. It is the similar effect you feel from the warmth of a hot stove across the room.

  • Radiant heating is highly efficient, often more so than baseboard or forced-air heating due to its elimination of duct losses. Additionally, it's preferred by many people with allergies because it doesn't distribute allergens and mold like forced-air systems.

  • No. You can install specific rooms or spaces. For example, bedrooms, kitchens, living rooms, etc.

  • Optional. You can remove the existing floor, or we can simply install directly over your existing floor.

  • In order to install a 1,000 sqft house, it usually takes 2 days for the heating system. Installing finished floor material can be varied on the floor installer.

  • Heat film is extremely thin and durable. Additional coated layer protect the product from the damage during installation. Best part if radiant floor heating system is maintenance free.

  • Any type of floating floor can be installed over heating, film including engineered hardwood, laminates, vinyl, and tile. But carpet flooring is not recommended.

  • Typical forced air system use mechanical duct to transport heated air. Due to hot air rises, forced air system need to create a air movement, so that hot air keep circulate within house. Radiant floor heating perform much more efficient way by heating the floor not the air.

  • Heat film system is much more reliable, easier to install, more powerful and distribute heat more evenly compare with wire-based radiant heating. Usually most of wire-base radiant heating system install wire every 4 ~ 6 inches compared with rolls of heat film.
